The universe works on a math equation that never even ever really even is any end. Infinity spirals out creation. We're on the tip of its tongue, and it is saying:
We ain't sure where you stand. You ain't machines and you ain't land. And the plants and the animals, they are linked. And the plants and the animals eat each other.

What can a person do to be more optimistic in life?

My sister does this awesome thing that I sort of adopted. Every day when she comes home and the day is over, she goes to her calendar and writes at least one good thing that happened that day. Keeping in mind she's generally a totally negative person, so it's hard for her to think of stuff sometimes. But she does it, and it seems to have made her a little happier (along with the BC and her video games, haha). I do that with my calendar, except I just write down pretty much everything that happened that day, partially because I have this fear of losing my memory and partially because I do forget a lot of things, and it solidifies it in my memory a little when I write stuff down.

I think doing that, writing one good thing that happened every day at the day's end, and then maybe rereading over it at the end of each month to see how good a month you really had would help people be more optimistic about the month coming. =]

I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!
